We are looking for a computer-savvy Sales Executive/Manager. The role calls for strong field sales ability, the confidence to negotiate with industrial buyers, and generate weekly and monthly reports.

Responsibilities:

Sales and client management

- Understand the technical details of our products, including sizes, grades and specifications, and explain them to clients.

- Visit existing and current clients 2 to 3 days a week to generate business, maintain relationship and close orders.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

- Keep track of market prices, competitor activity and upcoming projects.

Client data and follow-up

- Generate regular reports from Tally and the CRM to identify clients who have not ordered recently, clients whose order volumes have dropped, and clients the company has lost touch with.

- Prioritise these clients by past business value and future potential, and plan targeted follow-up through calls and visits.

- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM.

Reporting





- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to management, covering achievement against target, pending orders and follow-up status

- Coordinate with the operations team on quotations, stock and dispatch

Requirements

- Proven record of achieving sales targets, individually and as a team

- Experience using a CRM to track clients and plan follow-ups

- We are an automation first company. Candidate must be able tech savvy.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Tamil. Knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.

- Willing to travel within Chennai and nearby areas 2 to 3 days a week

- Must have own vehicle and a valid driving licence
