- Should be able to interpret complex engineering drawings, apply GD&T; standards, have machining process knowledge, and aware of aerospace material specifications
- Can utilize CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Siemens NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks) to generate 3D models, 2D drawings, and optimized G-code toolpaths for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines
- Knowledge on cutting tools, work-holding fixtures or jigs and creation of detailed "setup sheets" and Manufacturing Operation Sheet providing explicit instructions for machine operators
