About the Role

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Reel Video Editor who understands social media content and can turn raw footage into engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media videos.
- Convert raw footage into high-quality, attention-grabbing short-form content.
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music and graphics.
- Create robust hooks and maintain good pacing throughout the video.
- Follow current social media editing trends and formats.
- Work with the content/social media team to understand the objective of each video.
- Deliver videos according to deadlines and content calendars.
- Repurpose long-form videos, interviews and educational content into multiple short-form videos.
- Maintain consistency in branding, fonts, colours and editing style.

Requirements

- Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube short-form content.
- Strong sense of timing,



storytelling and visual presentation.
- Ability to select the best clips from raw footage.
- Good understanding of captions, hooks, transitions and trending formats.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A creative mindset and willingness to experiment with new content styles.
