Veterinary Assistant / Paravet

Job Summary

We are hiring Paravets / Veterinary Assistants for our veterinary team in Mumbai. Candidates should have a Veterinary Diploma/Certificate with relevant Small Animal experience. The role involves assisting veterinary doctors with OPD, OT, animal handling, basic veterinary procedures, patient care, and maintaining clinical hygiene and records.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians during OPD, OT, treatment, and procedures.
- Handle and restrain small animals safely.
- Assist with medication, vaccination, wound care, and basic procedures.
- Monitor animal health and report observations to veterinarians.
- Maintain OT/OPD equipment, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Support emergency and ambulance veterinary services when required.
- Coordinate with veterinarians and the support team.

Candidate Requirements

- Veterinary Diploma/Certificate Mandatory
- Small Animal experience – Mandatory
- OPD: Minimum 1+ year experience
- OT In-Charge: Minimum 3+ years Small Animal OT experience
- Ambulance OPD: Minimum 1+ year Small Animal experience




- Positive animal-handling and basic veterinary procedure knowledge
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and responsible approach toward animal care
