Role Overview

We are looking for a finance qualified to join our Valuations & Transaction Advisory practice, supporting leading Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Private Equity and Venture

Capital Funds, and growth-stage and startup companies.

The role will involve end-to-end exposure to investment valuation, financial analysis,

transaction advisory and financial due diligence, with an opportunity to work closely with

Fund Managers, investment teams and management of portfolio companies.

The candidate will be expected to analyse businesses and investment structures, assess financial and operating performance, perform industry and comparable-company benchmarking, build and review financial models, and develop valuation conclusions that support investment and portfolio-related decisions.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct valuations of portfolio companies and investments using appropriate methodologies, including Comparable Companies Method (CCM), Comparable

Transactions Method (CTM), Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), and other relevant valuation approaches.

 Analyse portfolio companies (unlisted companies) across sectors, including their business models, financial performance, operating metrics, growth prospects,

competitive positioning and key value drivers.

 Perform detailed comparable company and transaction benchmarking, including identification and assessment of relevant industry peers, valuation multiples and transaction parameters.

 Develop, review and analyse financial models, including revenue build-ups, operating projections, cash flow forecasts, DCF models, WACC and sensitivity analyses.

 Prepare comprehensive valuation reports covering investment details, business overview, financial and operating performance, industry analysis, valuation methodology, key assumptions, valuation workings and conclusion.

 Assist in transaction advisory mandates in the venture capital deals, including analysis of term sheets,



investment structures and transaction documents and support evaluation of key commercial and financial considerations

 Interact with Fund Managers, Investment Teams and other stakeholders to understand business performance, investment terms, financial information and key valuation considerations.

 Conduct sector and industry research to develop insights on market trends,

competitive dynamics, business models and valuation benchmarks.

 Support preparation of presentations, investment analyses and other deliverables for clients and investment stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

 CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)/ Inter-CA or equivalent qualification.

 Strong understanding of business valuation, financial modelling, financial analysis and investment concepts.

 Working knowledge of valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable companies, comparable transactions and other private-company valuation approaches.

 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to independently build and review financial models and prepare client-ready presentations/reports.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to understand businesses across sectors and translate financial and operational information into meaningful investment insights.

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, Fund Managers and senior stakeholders.

 Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple assignments and timelines in a fast-paced professional environment.
