Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Labor Coordinator to manage daily labor,

timekeeping, and tip data across multiple venues and POS/payroll systems.

This role is responsible for ensuring that every employee hour, punch, pay rate, department assignment, and tip dollar is accurate before payroll is processed. You will work alongside Claude

(AI), which will help pull and pre-flag data each morning. Your role will focus on reviewing exceptions, exercising judgment, following up with managers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and confident following up with venue managers to resolve timekeeping and labor issues quickly.

Documentation.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in hospitality payroll, timekeeping, labor coordination, bookkeeping, or a related role. Experience with Square, Toast, Workforce by Intuit, QuickBooks Payroll, and advanced Excel skills including SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP. Comfortable using

AI tools and meeting payroll deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Hospitality or restaurant industry experience, multi-location support experience, payroll/labor-cost management, POS-to-payroll reconciliation, and SOP creation.

What Success Looks Like

Accurate payroll, timely submissions, reconciled labor hours, resolved punch discrepancies,

accurate tip calculations, proper employee setup, and improved operational processes through documentation and AI-assisted workflows.
