Role & responsibilities

- Key Skills: Experience on CATIA V5 and NX of automotive HVAC Duct, Coolant Tank, Trunk Trims 2D & 3D (Soft & Hard trims), Basic Knowledge about TI Auto Portal (PLM).
- Understand project requirements as per program milestones.
- Support project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation.
- Release of drawings and models with system engineers.
- Preparation of Bill of material.
- Design & development of automotive interior products like HVAC Ducts, Coolant Tank, and Trunk Trims.
- Good Knowledge of Injection and Blow molding design guide line.
- Able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
- Creation of 3D annotation for part and assembly level product.
- Local and customer Drawing Creation with consideration of 3-2-1 principle, car positioning, customer methodology, GD&T; etc.
- Should be able to design and develop the master section, concept detailing independently.




- Candidate should have executed at least a couple of related engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle.
- Creation and modification of CAD models and drawings in required CAD software
- To follow defined processes & customer standards and maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries

- Positive knowledge in CATIA V5 and NX.
- Creo will be an added advantage.
- Exposure automotive engineering and design.
- Experience & working knowledge on PLM Tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team orientation and willingness to learn new skills
- Experience of automotive plastic product design for HVAC Duct, Coolant Tank, and Trunk Trims
- Good leadership skills with team building skills.
- Good communication skills
