Trainee Security Analyst — Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

About the role

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented trainee to join our security team’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) wing. You’ll support the team in strengthening security practices, managing risk, and preparing for audits while learning how security frameworks work in a real organization.

What you’ll do

- Help maintain security policies, procedures, risk registers, and compliance records.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering evidence and tracking follow up actions.
- Assist with security risk assessments and monitor remediation plans.
- Research security frameworks and requirements, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and applicable privacy regulations.
- Help review third-party or vendor security questionnaires and organize supporting documentation.
- Work with teams across the organization to collect information and promote security awareness.
- Keep GRC trackers and documentation accurate and up to date.

What we’re looking for

- A degree, diploma, or current studies in information security, IT, computer science, business, law, or a related field.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.




- Valuable organization skills and the ability to follow through on tasks.
- Interest in cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, or privacy.
- Comfort with spreadsheets and common office tools.
- A willingness to learn and ask questions.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, or other security frameworks.
- Exposure to audits, risk assessments, policy writing, or vendor reviews.
- Relevant coursework, projects, or certifications.
- Basic knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and Digital forensics.

Location: Hyderabad

Type: Trainee (Candidate will be converted to full time employee upon satisfactory rating)

Duration: 3 months
