Roles &
Responsibilities - THT Process EngineerDevelop and establish THT assembly processes (manual & wave soldering)Define SOPs, work instructions, and process flowSet and optimize wave soldering parameters (temperature, speed, flux)Monitor soldering quality and control defects (cold joints, bridging, etc.)Perform defect analysis using 5 Why and implement corrective actionsImprove yield, efficiency, and reduce cycle timeEnsure compliance with IPC standards and quality requirementsProvide real-time support to production and troubleshoot issuesTrain operators on soldering techniques, safety, and standardsMaintain process documentation (PFMEA, control plans, reports)Coordinate with maintenance team for machine upkeep and preventive maintenanceManage and validate tooling, fixtures, and solder pallets for production efficiency
