Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented entry-level Automation Tester with hands-on experience in UI and API automation, functional testing, and database validation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automation scripts for UI (e.g., Selenium with Java) and API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Perform thorough functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Validate backend data by writing and executing SQL queries on Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts,



and other QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum workplace.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and log defects with detailed information.

Primary Skills

- 2+ years of experience in UI automation (e.g., Selenium).
- Working knowledge on API automation (REST APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured).
- Solid understanding of functional testing methodologies and test case design.
- Familiarity with backend systems and database validation techniques.

Secondary Skills:
- Basic understanding on usage of AI coding assistants(copilot etc.)
