About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tele Counsellor to join our Kolkata team.

The Tele Counsellor will interact with prospective students and their families through phone calls and online channels, understand their study-abroad aspirations, and guide them through suitable courses, universities, application requirements, scholarships, visas, and the overall admission journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students’ academic profiles, career objectives, budgets, and preferred destinations.
- Recommend suitable universities, colleges, courses, and countries based on individual requirements.
- Explain admission criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, application procedures, and visa processes clearly.
- Follow up consistently with enquiries and prospective students.




- Support students throughout the journey from initial enquiry to application and enrolment.
- Maintain accurate student and lead information in CRM/internal systems.
- Coordinate with admissions and operations teams for smooth application processing.
- Work towards defined counselling, service, follow-up, and conversion targets.
- Maintain professional, empathetic, and transparent communication with students and families.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Excellent counselling, interpersonal, and active-listening abilities.
- Ability to explain complex information in a simple and understandable manner.
- Strong customer-service and learner-focused approach.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems, email, and office productivity tools.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and work towards defined targets.
- Knowledge of international education and major study-abroad destinations will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in student counselling, overseas education, tele-counselling, inside sales, education consulting, or a related field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Must be comfortable working on-site in Kolkata.
