- Key Responsibilities: Outlines day-to-day oversight over technical parameters (Power Factor, THD, color binning) etc.
- Work Experience: 5 to 7 years in LED lighting manufacturing, electronics R&D;, or QA/QC roles within the lighting sector.
- Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical discipline.
- Passion for Technology Trends: Active interest in evolving smart lighting standards (DALI-2, Zigbee, BLE mesh, Matter), human-centric lighting, chip-on-board (COB) vs. surface-mount device (SMD) advancements, and gallium nitride (GaN) driver efficiency.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Establish and enforce Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) protocols for all LED components and finished luminaires.
- Component-Level Inspection: Audit drivers, LED chips/arrays, optical lenses, heatsinks, PCBs, and housings against technical datasheets and industry safety standards.
