About the Role

Hakimo is seeking a Team Lead - SOC to oversee the real-time operational monitoring of enterprise surveillance systems, physical access controls, and perimeter defense alarms. This role manages a shift-based team of video monitoring operators, enforcing strict response SLAs, overseeing incident dispatch, ensuring critical video evidence integrity, and driving operational readiness across all facility locations.

We are looking for individuals who can match our rapid-paced environment and learn quickly! You will join a team of highly motivated individuals delivering impactful results for the company using the latest cutting-edge computer vision AI technology.

What You'll Do

Shift Leadership & Real-Time Surveillance Operations

- Supervise daily operations of the 24/7 Physical Security Operations Center (PSOC / Command Center).
- Manage operator shift rosters, breaks, and structured shift-handover briefings to maintain uninterrupted visual coverage.
- Direct real-time video patrols and targeted monitoring during high-risk hours.

- Monitor queue loads and operator attention across camera walls, multi-screen consoles, and alarm queues to prevent vigilance fatigue.
- Report anything & everything which needs escalation to their direct managers on a real time basis.

Incident Management & Dispatch Coordination

- Act as the immediate escalation point for unauthorized intrusions, duress alarms, perimeter breaches, safety hazards, and medical emergencies.
- Coordinate rapid response by dispatching on-ground security guards, emergency response teams (ERT), and local authorities (police, fire, EMS).
- Lead live camera tracking to guide on-ground personnel during active intrusions or suspicious activity.
- Review, verify, and approve daily shift activity logs, incident reports, and emergency escalation summaries.
- Ensure accurate & timely submission of Incident Report for any kind of escalation which grants the need.

Systems, Evidence & Compliance

- Oversee the chain of custody for video footage retrieval, bookmarking, export, and secure archiving for internal investigations, legal hold, or law enforcement requests.
- Conduct daily system health audits across Video Management Systems (VMS), Network Video Recorders, camera feeds (checking for offline cameras, blind spots, obscured lenses), and integrated access control platforms.

- Log technical faults and liaise with security systems integrators or physical IT teams for swift hardware/software resolution.

Training, Quality Assurance & SOPs

- Train and onboard operators on standard operating procedures (SOPs), emergency action plans, and camera operation protocols.
- Conduct regular quality checks on operator vigilance, alarm acknowledgment times, and report accuracy.

What You'll Bring

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in a corporate, industrial, or multi-site Command and Control Center / Physical SOC / Alarm Monitoring Center, including at least 3 - 4 years in a supervisory, team lead, or senior shift coordinator capacity.
- Advanced operational mastery of enterprise-grade Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Deep working knowledge of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) like LenelS2, Software House (C·CURE).
- Strong expertise in configuring, triaging, and supervising AI video analytics (e.g., license plate recognition [LPR], perimeter tripwires, loitering, unattended baggage, and crowd density alerts).
- Competence in incident reporting platforms, dispatch consoles/two-way radios.
- 5-day work week with rotational week-offs as per the team roster (not fixed Saturday-Sunday), as the SOC operates 24/7.
- (Preferred, not mandatory) Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or equivalent substantial field experience.

What we offer

- Competitive salary with applicable allowances.
- Health plans similar to large SaaS companies.
- Build a career that’s ahead of the curve with an AI-first security product.
