Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Team Lead (Economy) to oversee a team of research analysts in the respective field. He/She will lead major research initiatives, will be responsible for overall research in assigned sector, and ensure high-quality insights for use by media, researchers, government departments and public. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, advanced research skills, and experience in policy analysis.

Role & responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of research analysts, ensuring high-quality research on government programs, policies, and regulatory developments for the sector.
- Oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects, monitoring and analysis of policy changes, economic trends, and government initiatives under the concerned sector
- Review and validate research reports, briefing notes, and presentations to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Develop and implement research strategies to enhance the quality and impact of policy analysis aligned with research unit goals.




- Guide the team in maintaining and updating databases tracking government programs and policy shifts.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their research and analytical skills
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide research-driven insights for research papers.
- Ensure the timely dissemination of reports and insights to relevant departments and leadership. Present research insights to senior officials.
- Monitor the trends and issues highlighted by media for that particular sector and identify gaps in information dissemination.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in government policy, regulatory affairs, and research methodologies.
- Foster collaboration between the research analysts of other sectors.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Postgraduate in Economics or law, engineering, sciences, humanities, journalism, etc. (preferred Ph.D./ M.Phil.) having experience for the Economy sector
- Age less than 45 Years
- Proven experience of 8 (plus)years in research, data analysis, and managing research teams.
- Solid leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
