Property, Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor
Sampoorna Yoga Retreat & Wellness Centre
Agonda, South Goa
Full-Time | Accommodation Allowance & Complimentary Meals Provided
Sampoorna Yoga is one of India's leading international yoga retreat and wellness centres, welcoming students from over 90 countries since 2010.
Our campus currently comprises approximately 70 guest rooms, six yoga shalas, two restaurants, two gyms, a swimming pool, extensive tropical gardens, and two separate properties, including our newly launched Beachfront Ashtanga Centre.
We are looking for an exceptional Property, Facilities & Maintenance Supervisor to help maintain, organise and continuously improve every physical aspect of our campus.
This position reports directly to our Hotel Operations Manager and plays a key role in ensuring that our entire property remains safe, organised, beautiful, functional and exceptionally well maintained every single day.
Your Responsibilities
You will coordinate and supervise the day-to-day physical operations across both properties, including:
- Property maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Housekeeping support and coordination
- Garden and landscaping supervision
- Coordination with electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, carpenters, painters and external contractors
- Kitchen and restaurant maintenance support
- Inventory management and storage organisation
- Linen, furniture, equipment and asset inventory
- Procurement support and local market research
- Vendor sourcing, comparison and negotiations
- Cost control without compromising quality
- Daily inspections and quality control
- Assisting in implementing operational systems, SOPs and checklists
- Supporting the Hotel Operations & Guest Experience Manager in executing daily operational priorities
This Position Is Not for Everyone This is not a desk job.
This is not a role for someone who prefers giving instructions from an office.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the ground.
Someone who leads by example.
Someone who is equally comfortable inspecting a room, organising a storeroom,
coordinating contractors, visiting the local market, negotiating with suppliers or solving a maintenance problem.
Someone who takes ownership.
Someone who notices problems before anyone else does.
Someone who gets things done.
If your mindset is
"That's not my job."
this role is not for you.
If your mindset is
"I'll figure it out and make it happen."
we would love to hear from you.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a graduate in any discipline.
- Has at least 5 years of supervisory or operations experience in hospitality, resorts, hotels, facilities management or property management.
- Has strong leadership and team coordination skills.
- Speaks fluent Hindi and has valuable working English.
- Possesses a valid driving licence and is comfortable riding a motorcycle or scooter. The ability to drive a car will be an added advantage.
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Is extremely self-driven, self-motivated and highly accountable.
- Enjoys working outdoors and being physically active.
- Leads by example rather than simply giving instructions.
- Has good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google Docs and basic reporting.
- Can organise inventories and maintain accurate records.
- Is comfortable coordinating multiple teams simultaneously.
- Is willing to travel locally for market research, vendor meetings and procurement whenever required.
- Understands the importance of cost control while maintaining high quality standards.
- Enjoys spending most of the day on the property, inspecting, coordinating, training and solving problems rather than sitting behind a desk.
How Success Will Be Measured Success will not be measured by how busy you appear.
It will be measured by your ability to:
- Keep the entire property exceptionally well maintained.
- Build organised inventories and storage systems.
- Improve maintenance standards.
- Reduce unnecessary expenses through smart purchasing and vendor management.
- Complete projects efficiently and on time.
- Coordinate multiple teams effectively.
- Identify problems before they become guest complaints.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
Compensation
- Salary: ₹30,000–₹40,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Accommodation Allowance: ₹15,000 per month
- Complimentary vegetarian meals
- Long-term career growth opportunities
- Opportunity to work in an international environment
The first 90 days will be considered your probation period. During this period, we expect you to demonstrate leadership, ownership, reliability and, most importantly, deliver measurable improvements to our day-to-day operations.
Salary revisions and future growth will be based entirely on your performance, results, accountability and contribution after joining Sampoorna Yoga—not on your past experience or previous designation.
