- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
- Diploma/Degree in Civil, Logistics, or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years of experience in store keeping, preferably in the construction/building industry.
- Freshers need not apply.
- Candidates who can take responsibility and manage day-to-day store operations independently are preferred.
Location & Job Requirements
- Candidates from nearby areas or Ernakulam district will be preferred.
- Candidate should be able to travel conveniently to the Brahmapuram project site.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is required.
- Willingness to work at a construction project site is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records.
- Issue materials as per authorized requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages in advance.
- Maintain accurate records of material inward and outward.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Site teams.
- Ensure proper storage, arrangement, and safety of materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with records.
- Maintain store cleanliness and prevent material wastage or loss.
- Prepare daily and periodic stock reports.
- Manage day-to-day store operations and supervise store helpers, if any.
Skills
- Basic MS Excel and computer knowledge.
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of construction materials is an advantage.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and organized approach to work.
