1. Plant Operations & Production

- Oversee core metal processes (such as melting, casting, rolling, slitting, Cut-to-Length (CTL), blanking, or heavy steel fabrication depending on the plant type).
- Drive production planning to maximize capacity utilization and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Monitor daily output, yield recovery, scrap reduction, and shop-floor efficiency.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Enforce quality systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (for automotive-grade sheet metal), APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
- Manage customer rejections, internal ppm (parts per million) rates, and root-cause analysis (8D, CAPA).
- Prepare and lead client, statutory, and third-party safety/process audits.

3. P&L;, Budgeting & Cost Control

- Own and manage annual CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) and OPEX (Operational Expenditure) budgets.
- Track and optimize cost-per-ton, conversion costs, energy/power consumption, and raw material inventory.4. Maintenance & Asset Management
- Oversee preventive, predictive,



and breakdown maintenance programs for heavy machinery (slitting lines, presses, furnaces, rolling mills).

5. Safety (EHS) & Statutory Compliance

- Maintain strict adherence to the Factories Act, pollution control norms, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive zero-accident safety cultures, near-miss reporting, and LTIFR (Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate) tracking. [1, 2]

6. People & Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and evaluate functional department heads (Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Supply Chain).
- Drive workforce planning, shift rotations, skill-matrix training, and labor relations. [1, 2, 3]
- Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Kaizen, and Lean/Six Sigma principles to minimize machine downtime. [1, 2]

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
