We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's technology infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems to support business operations in a dynamic pharmaceutical and healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Implement and maintain virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization solutions

Develop and execute infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability and reliability (99.9% uptime)

Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance with regulatory requirements (GxP, data privacy standards)

Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including application developers, security analysts,



and IT support to align infrastructure with business objectives

Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and runbooks

Lead infrastructure projects from design through implementation and handover

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualification

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IaaS and PaaS services

Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration

Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat management, and security frameworks

Skilled certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA is highly desirable
