Role Description The Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Production is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes for textile auxiliaries, specialty chemicals, colorants, and related products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, monitoring output against targets, coordinating with quality control and R&D; teams, and supervising production staff on the shop floor. The role involves troubleshooting process issues, implementing process improvements, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The individual will also collaborate with procurement, maintenance,



and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications

- Strong production management capabilities, including experience in planning, scheduling, and supervising manufacturing operations in chemicals, textiles, or related industries.
- Knowledge of chemical or textile processing, including familiarity with textile auxiliaries, specialty chemicals, dyestuffs, pigments, and enzymes.
- Experience working with quality control and R&D; teams, including understanding of laboratory practices, process trials, and application development.
- Sound understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards applicable to chemical and textile production.
- Proficiency in documentation, data analysis, and reporting related to production metrics, process deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with the ability to guide, train, and motivate production staff.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams such as procurement, maintenance, logistics, and sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a Sr. Executive or Assistant Manager production role, preferably within textile chemicals, specialty chemicals, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Comfort with using production management systems and basic office software for planning, tracking, and reporting.
