Job Summary

Role Purpose: Provide 24x7 operational monitoring and first-level support for Network, Infrastructure, Security, and Datacenter services. Monitor events and alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, execute approved SOPs, coordinate with resolver teams, and ensure service availability in line with agreed SLAs.

Responsibilities Monitoring Event Management

- Monitor infrastructure, network, server, storage, virtualization, and security alerts.

- Perform event correlation and initial impact assessment.

- Execute predefined operational runbooks and SOPs.

- Acknowledge, triage, and escalate alerts within SLA.

- Perform daily operational health checks.

- Validate monitoring dashboard health and reporting.

- Generate operational and exception reports.

- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for incident resolution.

Incident Service Request Management

- Handle L1 incidents and service requests.

- Perform first-level troubleshooting and diagnosis.

- Create, update, and manage tickets in ITSM tools.

- Ensure proper categorization, prioritization, and escalation.

- Maintain ticket documentation and audit trails.

- Follow Incident, Request, and Major Incident procedures.

Network Operations

- Monitor LAN, WAN, MPLS, IPVPN, SD-WAN, and Internet connectivity.

- Monitor switch, router, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.

- Perform port status verification and connectivity checks.

- Identify and escalate network performance degradation.





- Support VLAN provisioning and documentation activities.

- Validate network redundancy and link availability.

- Assist during network maintenance and change activities.

Security Monitoring

- Monitor alerts from Trellix, Nessus, FireEye, SIEM platforms.

- Escalate security events based on defined procedures.

- Support vulnerability reporting and remediation tracking.

- Assist with security audit evidence collection.

Datacenter Operations Support

- Monitor environmental alerts, UPS, and PDU health.

- Coordinate Smart Hands activities.

- Validate rack, power, and connectivity status when required.

- Maintain asset and inventory records.

Documentation Compliance

- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and knowledge articles.

- Update operational documentation and network diagrams.

- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

- Support audit and compliance activities.
