Role Description The Speech Language Specialist will provide full-time, in office clinical services at the Pune City clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, conducting detailed evaluations, and developing individualized therapy and rehabilitation plans. The specialist will deliver one-on-one and, where appropriate, group therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust treatment goals based on clinical outcomes.

The role involves documenting assessments and interventions accurately, collaborating with audiologists and other healthcare professionals,



counseling patients and families, and participating in patient education and prevention initiatives. The specialist will also contribute to maintaining high clinical standards, adherence to ethical guidelines, and a supportive, inclusive workplace for all patients.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Speech Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Expertise in assessing and managing Speech and Communication disorders across different age groups.
- Clinical experience in Dysphagia assessment and management, including therapy for swallowing difficulties.
- Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with valid professional licensure/registration as required.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and use standardized assessment tools.
- Effective interpersonal and counseling skills to work with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to non-discriminatory, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based clinical practice.
- Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting and familiarity with hearing and balance-related conditions is an advantage.
