Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we re looking to add a Specialist - General Ledger based in Chennai Location.

What a typical day looks like:

1-Analyze Various nature of accounts in the GL Module

- Review and prepare various entries in GL Module (Amortizations, Accruals, Allocations etc )

Review

Reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial balance

- Review, Reconcile and Resolve Intercompany Variances

5.

Extract

Reports from the Reporting tool to perform reporting commentary/analysis

- Prepare schedules to Balance Sheet as per GAAP Requirements
- Support various audits in providing transaction analysis, reconciliation for timely completion

8.

Support Corporate Accounting

Tax team for timely completion of statutory filings

- Collaborate with various internal teams to follow-up and close GL Module in ERP
- Willingness to work in complex environment with strict deadlines on projects
- Exposure to various financials automation/data projects will be an edge over others The experience we re looking to add to our team:

-M Com / MBA(Finance) / CMA (Intermediate) / ACA (Intermediate)

-Deeper understanding of various Accounting Standards (US/IFRS/Ind AS)

-Basic understanding of various audits/taxes applicable

-Good written/oral communication skills in English

-Exposure to preparation of presentations to management

-Good analytical skills and should be a team player

-Adaptable to work in shifts
