Position: Special Educator

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Special Educator to support children with special educational needs and help them develop their academic, behavioural, social, communication, and daily living skills.

The ideal candidate should have a relevant qualification in Special Education, strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in working with children with diverse learning and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized educational and developmental support based on the child's specific needs.
- Plan and implement appropriate learning activities and intervention strategies.
- Support children in developing academic, communication, social, behavioural, and functional skills.
- Observe and assess the child's progress and maintain appropriate records.
- Adapt teaching methods and learning materials according to individual requirements.
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation, confidence, and independence.
- Work closely with parents, caregivers, therapists, and other professionals involved in the child's development.
- Communicate the child's progress and relevant observations to the concerned team.
- Maintain professional, ethical,



and confidential standards while working with children and families.
- Follow the organization's guidelines, schedules, safety procedures, and service standards.

Candidate Requirements

- Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience. Freshers with the required qualification may also be considered.
- Qualification: Relevant qualification in Special Education from a recognized institution.
- Communication: Fluent English communication is mandatory.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children with special educational needs.
- Ability to understand individual needs and adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
- Willingness to work at Heelalige, Bommasandra, Bangalore.
- Candidates should be willing to work according to the client's/organization's required schedule.
