We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks Designer to join our engineering/design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in 3D modelling, 2D drafting, product design, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.

The candidate will work closely with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams to develop accurate and production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Develop part designs, sheet metal components, assemblies, and fabrication drawings as required.
- Convert concepts, sketches, and engineering requirements into detailed CAD designs.
- Make design modifications based on engineering, production, and customer requirements.
- Prepare BOMs (Bill of Materials) and maintain design documentation.
- Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, and accuracy.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Maintain and update existing drawings and design files.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards and engineering specifications.

Required Skills




- Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling, assemblies, and 2D drafting.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with sheet metal/fabrication design will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical components and design principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

Education

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience

2–4 years of relevant experience in SolidWorks / Mechanical Design / Product Design.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹46,000.00 per month
