Manju Groups is a growing organization focused on building and delivering technology-driven products and services. We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our technology team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Software Tester / QA Engineer who will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, validating software functionality, and ensuring products meet quality standards before release.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze software requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.

· Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.

· Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.

· Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.

· Test web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.

· Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and other stakeholders.

· Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.

· Maintain proper testing documentation and test reports.

· Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by test cases.

· Ensure software applications meet functional, usability, and quality requirements.

· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation.

· Communicate testing progress, risks,



and critical defects to the relevant teams.

Required Skills

· Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

· Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.

· Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.

· Familiarity with bug-tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, or similar tools.

· Positive understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman is an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is preferred.

· Understanding of web technologies and browser-based applications.

· Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in software testing or QA.

· Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
