We are looking for a creative, curious, and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern who has a basic understanding of social media and digital marketing and is willing to learn new skills, tools, trends, and technologies.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build practical experience in social media marketing, content creation, AI tools, Canva, video editing, branding, and digital marketing while working on a growing skincare brand.

About the Role:-

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the marketing and creative team to support the day-to-day social media activities of Barewoods.

You will be involved in content ideation, research, creation, editing, and execution across Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.

We are looking for someone with a basic foundation in social media platforms and marketing who is eager to learn and improve.

You do not need to know everything from day one. However, you should be willing to learn quickly, experiment with new ideas, take feedback, and apply it to your work.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Assist in planning and creating social media content for Barewoods.
- Support the creation of Reels, carousels, static posts, stories, UGC content, and other social media formats.
- Research social media trends, viral content formats, trending sounds, hooks, and creative ideas.
- Assist in developing content ideas, scripts, captions, and creative concepts.
- Create and edit short-form videos and social media content.
- Use Canva to create clean, polished, and visually appealing social media creatives.
- Use AI tools for content ideation, research, copywriting, scripting, image generation, video concepts, editing, and other creative workflows.
- Explore and learn new AI tools and digital marketing technologies.
- Assist in maintaining the visual identity and communication style of the brand.
- Support content calendars, campaigns, product launches, and other marketing activities.
- Assist with competitor research and social media benchmarking.
- Monitor social media engagement, comments, and audience interactions.
- Assist in tracking basic social media performance and understanding what type of content performs well.
- Bring fresh and creative ideas to improve brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative team to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.




- Learn from feedback and continuously improve the quality of content and execution.

Required Skills:-

- Basic understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram.
- Basic understanding of social media marketing and digital marketing.
- Strong willingness to learn new skills, tools, platforms, trends, and technologies.
- Good understanding of how social media content works.
- Good knowledge of AI tools and willingness to experiment with new AI tools.
- Good working knowledge of Canva, with the ability to manually create and edit designs.
- Basic to good video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, or other editing applications.
- Ability to create Reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts, and stories.
- Fluent and confident spoken English.
- Good written English, with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
- Good understanding of visual aesthetics, typography, composition, and basic branding.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate new content ideas.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to take feedback positively and improve quickly.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:-

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous internship, freelance experience, academic project, personal project, or hands-on experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, branding, or video editing is a plus.
- Experience managing a personal social media page or creating personal content is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and insights is a plus.
- A portfolio of social media creatives, Reels, videos, Canva designs, or personal projects will be an advantage.

Camera Confidence:-

- The candidate should be comfortable participating in social media content when required.
- Willingness to participate in Reels, UGC-style videos, product demonstrations, talking-head videos, and brand shoots will be an advantage.
- The candidate should be comfortable speaking naturally on camera and communicating ideas confidently.
