Job Title: Snowflake Solution Architect

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune Experience: 12+ Years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of Snowflake-based data platforms on Azure
- Drive data warehouse migration and modernization programs (Teradata / Oracle / SQL Server to Snowflake)
- Define and enforce data security, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Design scalable ELT pipelines supporting batch and near real-time data processing
- Establish performance tuning, cost optimization, and capacity planning strategies
- Define enterprise data modeling standards (Dimensional & Data Vault)
- Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and drive best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture

Required Skills & Experience

Snowflake Expertise:

- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, Virtual Warehouses, and multi-cluster design
- Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks
- Expertise in performance tuning, micro-partitioning, and clustering strategies
- Implementation of RBAC, data masking, row access policies, and secure data sharing
- Experience with cross-region replication and disaster recovery

Azure Cloud:

- Proficiency in Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Azure Data Factory (ADF)




- Working knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure AD, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps
- Exposure to Event Hub and Azure Functions is an advantage

Data Engineering:

- Advanced SQL skills (mandatory, no compromise)
- Experience with Python and DBT (preferred)
- Strong experience in ELT tools (ADF / Informatica / Matillion)
- Proven experience in building large-scale data pipelines

Data Modeling & DevOps:

- Expertise in Dimensional Modeling (Kimball) and Data Vault 2.0
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Preferred Certifications

- SnowPro Core Certification
- Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Leadership & Soft Skills

- Solid stakeholder management and client-facing experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams (8–15 members)

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Experience managing large-scale data platforms (5TB+)
- Exposure to multi-region Azure deployments
- Strong focus on performance optimization and cost governance
- Domain experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare (preferred)
