Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Good technical knowledge of refractories and castable used in steel making, reheating, and heat treatment furnaces.
2. Knowledge of the ingot casting refractory will be an added advantage.
3. Good technical know-how on the application of refractory.
4. Good technical knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
5. Valuable communication skills.
6. Shall have hands-on experience in refractory application in alloy and stainless-steel industry of similar nature.
7. Working exposure in reheating, heat treatment and box furnace will be an added advantage.
8. Shall be conversant with the testing norms for the refractories.
9. Shall have positive analytical skills and shall take a key lead in improvement initiatives.
