Anup Engineering Limited is a leading engineering company specializing in the design and manufacturing of critical process equipment, including Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Columns & Towers, Silos and Storage Tanks for industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Chemicals, Fertilizers and Power.

We are looking for experienced Safety professionals to join our team across our manufacturing locations.

Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Safety

Experience: 3–7 Years

Qualification: PDIS – Mandatory

Location: Odhav & Kheda, Ahmedabad

Vacancies: 3 — 2 at Kheda | 1 at Odhav

Shift: Rotational shifts

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
- Identify and monitor unsafe conditions and unsafe practices.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct Safety Induction, EHS Training, Toolbox Talks and Mock Drills.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly safety observation reports and accident statistics.
- Conduct and coordinate monthly Safety Committee meetings.




- Ensure availability and proper use of PPE.
- Inspect PPE, lifting tools & tackles, scaffolding, electrical equipment and other safety-critical equipment.
- Manage Work Permit Systems for hot work, work at height, lifting, excavation and confined-space activities.
- Coordinate safety awareness initiatives and statutory safety events.
- Support internal and external safety/environmental audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS standards, procedures and statutory requirements.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory:

✓ PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) – Must have

✓ 3–7 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing safety experience

✓ Hands-on experience in plant/shop-floor safety

✓ Knowledge of risk assessment, JSA, permit-to-work and safety audits

✓ Robust communication and safety training skills

✓ Willingness to work in rotational shifts

Industry Preference: Candidates from Heavy Engineering / Process Equipment / Fabrication / Manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Note: PDIS qualification is mandatory for this position. Candidates without PDIS will not be considered.
