Technical Service & Sales Engineer Industrial Printers

BOP Solutions is looking for a hands-on technical professional to install, service and troubleshoot industrial printers and coding equipment.

After-sales service is the primary responsibility. The engineer will also conduct product demonstrations and identify opportunities for printers, ink cartridges, accessories and service contracts.

Position Details

- Office base: Fort, Mumbai
- Field coverage: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and surrounding industrial areas
- Salary: Up to 50,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and technical capability
- Experience: Preferably 1–5 years
- Employment: Full-time, permanent
- This is a hands-on field role involving regular customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission TIJ printers, handheld printers, conveyors and related equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve printing, sensor, encoder, electrical and equipment connectivity issues.
- Configure print layouts, batch numbers, dates, barcodes and other customer printing requirements.
- Train customers on equipment operation, cartridge handling and routine maintenance.
- Provide technical support through site visits, telephone and video calls.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and follow up until service issues are resolved.
- Maintain clear installation reports, service records and customer follow-ups.
- Conduct product demonstrations and printing trials with sales team support.
- Identify customer requirements for ink cartridges, accessories, additional printers and service contracts.




- Coordinate with the sales team and suppliers to resolve technical queries.

Candidate Requirements

- Practical experience servicing printers, coding machines, packaging machinery, automation equipment or industrial electronics.
- Ability to troubleshoot systematically and work independently at customer sites.
- Basic understanding of electrical connections, sensors and mechanical adjustments.
- Transparent communication skills and patience when training customers.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
- ITI, Diploma or Engineering qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline preferred.
- TIJ printer experience is an advantage. Candidates with relevant equipment service experience are also welcome.
