Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Chennai is for Service Advisors and Senior Service Mechanics at Gurudev Skoda, Gurudev Motors’ car dealership operations.

Service

Advisors will greet customers, understand vehicle concerns, open job cards, coordinate inspections, estimate work, obtain approvals, and update customers on repair status, timelines, and costs. They will work closely with workshop teams, ensure adherence to service processes, and focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and aftersales support.





Senior Service

Mechanics will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs and scheduled maintenance, conduct test drives, and ensure that work meets manufacturer and safety standards. Both positions will collaborate with parts, warranty, and quality teams to ensure efficient service operations and positive customer experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong customer orientation with skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer-focused Service
- Experience in Customer Service and Aftersales operations within an automotive workshop or dealership
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, technicians, and internal teams
- Technical knowledge of passenger car systems (mechanical, electrical, diagnostics) for Senior Service Mechanics roles
- Ability to interpret job cards, service manuals, and manufacturer guidelines
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Automotive Mechanic/Technician in a dealership environment preferred
- Relevant automotive vocational training, diploma, or degree (e.g., Mechanical/Automobile engineering or ITI/Polytechnic) beneficial
- Comfort working in a rapid-paced workshop setting with focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery
