Warehouse Executive (Extended Working Hours)

Experience: 2–5 years in warehouse or stores in chemicals, specialty chemicals, FMCG or manufacturing

Education: Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / any stream). A diploma in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.

About the Company

We are a growing specialty chemicals manufacturer. We supply high-performance products to industrial and consumer-goods customers in India and export markets. We need a hands-on warehouse executive to run our stores and dispatch.

Working Hours

- This role has extended working hours: 10–12 hours a day, 6 days a week. (for example, 10AM to 8:00/9:00 PM).
- Extra hours are needed during peak dispatch, month-end, container loading and when urgent customer orders come in.
- Hours beyond the standard shift are paid as an extended-hours allowance, as per company policy and applicable law.
- Weekly off: 1 day (rotational, if operations need it).

Key Responsibilities

Inbound and receiving

- Receive raw materials, packaging and consumables against purchase orders and invoices. Check quantity, batch number, expiry date and the condition of the packing.
- Coordinate with QC on sampling. Keep materials separate as quarantined, approved or rejected.
- Make the GRN (goods received note) and update the ERP or Tally on the same day.

Storage and inventory

- Store materials by category: flammable, corrosive, temperature-sensitive and general. Follow MSDS guidelines.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO (first in, first out / first expired, first out).



Keep bin locations and stock labels correct.
- Do daily cycle counts and the monthly physical stock check. Reconcile any differences with accounts.
- Track minimum stock levels and send reorder alerts to purchase on time.

Issue to production

- Issue raw materials to production against approved requisitions or batch cards.
- Track returns, wastage and leftover material from production.

Dispatch and logistics

- Plan and carry out dispatches. Arrange picking, packing, labelling and weighing.
- Prepare dispatch documents: invoice, e-way bill, delivery challan, packing list, COA (certificate of analysis), and DG (dangerous goods) declarations where needed.
- Coordinate with transporters, courier partners and CHAs (customs house agents) for export shipments and container stuffing.
- Make sure orders go out on time and keep a dispatch register.

Safety, compliance and housekeeping

- Keep the warehouse clean and orderly using 5S practices. Make sure fire safety equipment and PPE are in place and used.
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely. Report any spills or incidents straight away.
- Keep records ready for audits (ISO, customer audits, GST).

Team and reporting

- Supervise loaders, helpers and contract labour.
- Send daily stock, receipt and dispatch reports.



Share a weekly report on ageing and slow-moving stock.

Skills and Requirements

- Good working knowledge of Tally, ERP or warehouse software, and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Knowledge of GST documentation and e-way bills. Export documentation is a plus.
- Experience handling chemicals or hazardous materials is preferred.
- Physically fit and comfortable on the shop floor for long hours.
- Organised, disciplined and dependable when there is time pressure.
- Can communicate in Hindi, Marathi and basic English.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and on Sundays or holidays when needed.
- A two-wheeler and living in or near Bhiwandi are preferred.
