We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Delivery Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects across web, mobile, cloud, and data platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards, while building strong relationships with clients and effectively coordinating cross-functional engineering teams.

You will act as a key bridge between clients, engineering teams, project stakeholders, and senior leadership, while continuously improving delivery processes and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

- Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent software projects from initiation through successful closure.
- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and delivery plans in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery against agreed commitments.
- Drive Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Track and communicate key delivery metrics including velocity, burn-down, quality, timelines, and risks.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary delivery contact and escalation point for clients.
- Build and maintain robust, trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
- Manage expectations, scope changes, priorities, dependencies, and project sign-offs.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, engineering teams, and leadership.
- Proactively identify potential issues and ensure timely resolution of escalations.

Team & Resource Management

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, and other specialists.
- Allocate resources effectively and balance workloads across projects.
- Identify and remove delivery blockers to maintain team productivity.
- Mentor and guide Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and Technical Leads.




- Support recruitment and onboarding for project and delivery roles.

Risk, Quality & Governance

- Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges early.
- Develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans.
- Establish effective project governance, reporting, documentation, and review mechanisms.
- Ensure projects adhere to agreed quality, security, compliance, and delivery standards.
- Continuously improve delivery processes, templates, dashboards, and governance practices.

Financial & Commercial Management

- Monitor project effort, resource utilisation, billing, budgets, and margins.
- Track project financial performance and proactively address budget or utilisation risks.
- Work closely with leadership and finance teams to ensure commercial targets are met.

Pre-Sales & Business Support

- Support pre-sales activities through effort estimation, project planning, delivery timelines, and resource planning.
- Participate in solution discussions, client presentations, and technical/delivery walkthroughs.
- Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and delivery approaches.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant management qualification is an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of overall experience in software/technology, with at least 4 years in software project/delivery management for client-facing engagements.
- Strong hands-on understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Working knowledge of modern technology environments including cloud platforms, APIs, web and mobile application development, and data solutions.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ members.




- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, and commercial outcomes.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
- Excellent client communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and organisational abilities.

Good to Have

- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project/delivery management certifications.
- Experience working with international/offshore clients, particularly across the US, UK, or Middle East markets.
- Previous experience as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Engineering Lead.
- Experience with distributed/global delivery teams.
- Exposure to commercial management, account growth, or technology consulting.

- Effective mentoring and development of Project Managers and Technical Leads.
