Zycus is seeking a highly motivated Senior Spend Consultant to lead the functional implementation and consulting of its AI-powered Spend Management solutions. The role involves working closely with global customers to understand business requirements, analyze and transform spend data, configure solutions, drive implementation workshops, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should possess strong spend management and procurement domain expertise, excellent consulting skills, a good understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, and an interest in leveraging AI to improve implementation and consulting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional implementation of Zycus Spend Management and Spend Analytics solutions, with a strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Conduct discovery sessions, requirement gathering, solution design workshops, business process mapping, and spend analysis discussions with customers.
- Analyze customer spend data to identify opportunities across suppliers, categories, business units, and procurement processes.
- Work on spend data management activities including supplier normalization, spend classification, taxonomy mapping, data quality, and spend visibility.
- Configure the application based on customer requirements, spend management best practices, and agreed solution designs.
- Prepare functional specifications, solution design documents, configuration documents, analytical requirements, and test scenarios.
- Support integrations with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and other enterprise applications.
- Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training,



go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
- Translate spend and procurement data into actionable insights and recommendations for customers, including supplier, category, and spend optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to resolve functional issues and deliver successful implementations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices across Spend Management and S2P processes.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.

AI Skills & Initiatives

- Leverage AI and GenAI tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve spend analysis, solution documentation, business analysis, test case generation, and implementation efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate spend analysis, data validation, implementation activities, and customer onboarding.
- Promote AI-enabled consulting practices and contribute to internal AI adoption initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging AI capabilities within enterprise procurement, spend analytics, and SaaS solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or an equivalent technical degree.
- 5–8 years of experience in enterprise SaaS implementation,



Spend Analytics, Spend Management, procurement consulting, or functional consulting.
- Strong experience in Spend Management / Spend Analytics, with a good understanding of Procurement, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, or Accounts Payable processes.
- Strong understanding of spend data, supplier data, procurement processes, spend classification/taxonomy, and spend analytics concepts.
- Experience implementing enterprise procurement or spend analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of procurement business processes and digital transformation.
- Experience with ERP integrations such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve productivity and delivery.
- Relevant certifications in procurement, consulting, analytics, or project management are an added advantage.

Valuable to Have

- Experience working on platforms such as Zycus, Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP SMART, Oracle Procurement Cloud, Basware, Proactis, or Tradeshift.
- Experience in global Spend Analytics or procurement implementation projects.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of procurement analytics, spend classification, supplier normalization, taxonomy management, savings/opportunity identification, AI-enabled procurement, or intelligent automation.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes and their impact on spend visibility and procurement analytics.
