Position : Senior SQL Database Administrator with SQL Server (High Availability and Always on for Immediate joiner only)

Shift Timing : 24/7 Rotational

Job Type : Permanent To be On Board : ASAP (Only immediate joiners)

Job Role

- Experience in Migrating from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2012 and from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2014/2016/2019
- Experience in upgrading SQL server software to current versions and applying service packs and patches
- Monitor system's health and performance
- Analyze, solve, and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Handling daily issues (Blocking, long running Transactions, Deadlocks, etc.)
- Troubleshoot issues related to TempDB, Transaction log and System databases
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery and scheduling database backups, taking full and Transaction log backups
- Automate SQL server tasks (SQL jobs, Windows scripts, etc.)




- Auditing database configuration and security configurations
- Basic knowledge of SSIS & SSRS
- Hands on High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) like Always ON, Replication, Log shipping, Mirroring and Clustering
- Coding and scripting skills highly desirable

Must Have Skills

- 9+ years of database administrator experience.
- Ready to work in rotational shift.
- Working knowledge of MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure
- Coding and scripting
- Should be hands on with SQL High Availability
- Expertise in Always-on hands on experience
- SQL Performance
- Database Experience in Always On Availability Groups
- Aware of ITIL process
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Work form office / Immediate Joiners
- Should have certification
