Senior Software QA Tester (Mobile & Web Applications)

Experience

6-8+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience testing Android, iOS, and Web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing for Android, iOS, and Web applications.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Verify mobile-specific features such as push notifications, Bluetooth, NFC, biometrics, camera, location services, and background processes.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, to ensure product quality.
- Support UAT, release validation, production verification, and regression testing.
- Prepare QA documentation, including test reports, release reports, and defect summaries.
- Ensure applications meet quality, usability, performance, and security standards.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience testing Android, iOS, and responsive Web applications.
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of SQL/database validation.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Familiarity with mobile application deployment processes (Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
- Basic understanding of security and performance testing.

Education

- UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization, B.Sc in Any Specialization, B.C.A. in Any Specialization
- PG: MS/M.Sc(Science) in Any Specialization, M.Tech in Any Specialization, MCA in Any Specialization
