Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test frameworks and test suites for Web, API, and Mobile applications.

- Automate in-sprint stories and integrate automated tests alongside feature development.

- Develop and maintain reusable automation libraries, utilities, fixtures, data factories, and test data management solutions.

- Establish and enforce automation coding standards, code reviews, and quality best practices.

- Design and implement robust locator strategies, synchronization mechanisms, and test stability improvements.

- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, including test execution, reporting, parallelization, and quality gates.

- Create and maintain automated test reporting dashboards and quality metrics.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

- Support contract testing, service virtualization, mocks, and stubs to improve testing efficiency.

- Mentor and guide team members on automation frameworks, test design, and debugging techniques.

- Drive continuous improvement in test automation, quality engineering practices, and productivity through AI-enabled solutions and tooling.

- Develop tools, platforms, and creative solutions that enhance QA efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Mandatory Skills

- Web UI automation using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript.

- API test automation using Postman/Newman and/or REST Assured.

- Mobile test automation using Appium with Java.

- Strong understanding of automation framework design and test architecture.





- Expertise in test design techniques, boundary testing, negative testing, assertions, and test data management.

- Experience developing reusable automation components, utilities, and frameworks.

- CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI.

- Experience with automated test reporting tools such as Allure, JUnit, or HTML Reports.

- Strong knowledge of Git version control, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

- Strong debugging and root cause analysis capabilities across application, API, network, and mobile layers.

- Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and quality engineering practices.

- Knowledge of security, privacy, reliability, and quality considerations for business-critical applications.

- Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

- Experience with AI-powered productivity and engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Kiro, MCP, ACP, A2A, Ollama, and similar platforms.

- Knowledge of contract testing tools such as Pact.

- Experience with Docker and containerized testing environments.

- Familiarity with Jira, Xray, test analytics, and traceability management.

- Knowledge of accessibility testing and internationalization validation.

- Understanding of UI and API performance profiling and performance testing concepts.

- Experience with test containers, service virtualization, stubs, and mocks.

- Experience with SonarQube quality gates and code quality management.

- Exposure to Selenium and/or Playwright automation frameworks.
