About the Role -

Date Energy is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with proven experience in the Solar EPC sector to drive business development and project sales.

The role involves managing the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and client acquisition to proposal development, commercial negotiations, project conversion, and closure.

Key Responsibilities -

- Generate and develop new leads for Solar EPC projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, and C&I; segments.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Identify customer requirements and coordinate with internal technical and project teams for suitable EPC solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, follow-ups, and commercial discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
- Achieve assigned sales and project acquisition targets.




- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop repeat business from existing clients.

Candidate Requirements -

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in Solar EPC Sales / Business Development.
- Proven experience in Solar EPC project/service sales; product-only sales experience will not be considered.
- Experience in C&I;, industrial, commercial, or institutional solar projects will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of Solar EPC projects and techno-commercial requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
- Robust ability to generate leads, develop opportunities, and independently close projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- MBA in Marketing / Business Administration will be an added advantage.
