About the Role

Roots Technology is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Research Analyst who can independently handle research projects involving primary and secondary data, experimental data, data analysis, research methodology, and report preparation.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and research skills and be capable of managing research assignments from research planning and data collection through analysis, interpretation, and final reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and execute research projects from start to completion.
- Work on primary, secondary, and experimental research data.
- Design research methodologies, questionnaires, surveys, and data-collection frameworks.
- Collect, organize, clean, and validate research data.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Analyze experimental data and interpret research findings.
- Use statistical tools/software for data analysis and interpretation.
- Identify trends, patterns, relationships, and significant findings within datasets.
- Prepare research reports, analytical reports, project reports, and research documentation.
- Conduct literature reviews and evaluate relevant research studies and sources.
- Ensure proper referencing, citation, data accuracy, and research quality.
- Present research findings in a clear and structured manner.
- Review research work for accuracy, consistency, methodology, and quality.
- Coordinate with researchers, writers, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.




- Handle multiple research projects while meeting deadlines.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of research methodology and research design.
- Experience working with primary, secondary, and experimental data.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Proficiency in tools such as SPSS, Excel, R, Python, or similar statistical/data-analysis software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent academic/research writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to interpret statistical outputs and research findings.
- Knowledge of literature review, hypothesis testing, sampling techniques, and data validation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to research accuracy.
- Ability to independently manage research projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Research, Statistics, Data Science, Social Sciences, Management, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Previous experience working on academic, scientific, market, or experimental research projects.
- Experience handling large datasets and preparing research reports.
- Knowledge of research publication standards and academic documentation will be an advantage.
