Position: Sr. Public Relations Executive – Consumer Tech

Role Summary

Sr. Public Relations Executive will be responsible for driving strategic communications, media relations, client servicing, and PR campaigns for consumer technology brands. The role requires strong sector knowledge, creative thinking, excellent media relationships, and the ability to independently manage client mandates while contributing to the growth and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, key stakeholders, competitors, industry landscape, and relevant PR best practices.
- Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with client objectives, business priorities, and sector trends.
- Proactively identify market, competitor, and media insights and translate them into actionable PR opportunities and recommendations.
- Ideate and execute innovative PR campaigns, activities, product launches, media engagements, and other initiatives across the client portfolio.
- Build strong client relationships and proactively contribute ideas and strategic recommendations during client planning and brainstorming sessions.
- Independently manage day-to-day client servicing, account deliverables, timelines, and communication requirements.
- Plan and execute events end-to-end, including timelines, venue coordination, resource planning, checklists, event flow, and responsibility matrices.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with relevant national and regional media across consumer technology.
- Drive proactive media outreach, identify relevant storytelling opportunities, and independently manage media queries and responses.
- Develop high-quality communication materials, including press releases, media pitches, bylines, newsletters, speeches, scripts, and other PR content.




- Stay abreast of consumer technology trends, media conversations, and industry developments to identify relevant opportunities for clients.
- Effectively manage and delegate responsibilities within the team, mentor junior team members, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

- 3–4 years of relevant experience in PR, communications, or a PR agency, preferably handling consumer technology brands.
- Strong understanding of the consumer technology sector, media landscape, and PR ecosystem.
- Strong network and working relationships with national and regional media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong media writing and storytelling abilities.
- Strong client servicing skills with the ability to independently manage client conversations, expectations, and deliverables.
- Ability to develop communication strategies and translate business and market insights into effective PR plans.
- Strong campaign ideation and execution skills, with an ability to bring fresh and relevant ideas to the table.
- Experience in managing media relations, product launches, events, and integrated PR campaigns.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and collaborate effectively with internal and client teams.
- Prior experience in mentoring or managing junior team members will be an advantage.
