Project Manager – eCommerce (B2C & B2B) and OMS

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale B2C and B2B eCommerce implementation and migration projects for US retail customers. This is a strictly onsite role, five days a week from our Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing at least two end-to-end Retail implementations or platform migration projects from inception to production go-live.

The candidate will work closely with global customers, onsite teams, business stakeholders, architects, and offshore engineering teams to deliver enterprise commerce solutions with high quality, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise retail B2C and B2B eCommerce implementation projects.
- Manage complete project lifecycle from Discovery, Solution Design, Development, Testing, UAT, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Successfully manage retail implementations and migration projects from legacy commerce platforms to modern digital commerce platforms.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, resource allocation, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with global onsite teams, customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams across different time zones.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Monitor project health through KPIs, dashboards, RAID logs, burn-down charts, and executive status reports.
- Manage customer communication, governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and executive reporting.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality, scope, and budget.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams involving Commerce, OMS, ERP, PIM, CRM, Payment, Shipping, Tax, and third-party integrations.
- Drive risk mitigation, issue resolution, change management, and escalation management.
- Support pre-sales activities, effort estimation, project planning, and solution transition.
- Ensure adherence to PMO governance, delivery best practices, and organizational quality standards.
- Mentor project managers, scrum masters, and delivery teams.

Required Experience

- 12 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing enterprise retail eCommerce B2B and B2C implementation projects.
- Must have US client experience, working directly with US stakeholders.
- Must have worked on retail projects with eCommerce for both B2B and B2C. Retail domain experience only.




- Successfully delivered at least two end-to-end retail implementations ecommerece B2B and B2C or platform migration projects from project initiation through production go-live.
- Has owned projects end to end, from kickoff through go-live and hypercare.
- Experience in RFPs, proposals, effort estimation, and pricing.
- Has managed vendors, onshore-offshore teams, and distributed teams for US customers.
- Schedule management: can define and apply crashing and fast-tracking, analyse the critical path, and offer scope or phasing options when timelines are compressed.
- Depth in PIM and integrations (ERP, OMS, CRM, payment, tax, shipping), including how they interact and where the risks are.
- Hands-on experience managing projects on one or more of: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Adobe Commerce (Magento), SAP Commerce (Hybris), Shopify Plus, commercetools, BigCommerce, VTEX, Oracle Commerce, or any other enterprise eCommerce platform.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work onsite from Bangalore five days a week, and join immediately.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Pay: ₹1,537,000.00 - ₹2,430,000.00 per year
