We’re hiring: Senior Production Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Production Support / Operations Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience to join a team supporting a high-performance, business-critical Time Series Data Platform.

The role is focused on production operations, technical troubleshooting and incident management.

Your responsibilities:

- Provide L1/L2 technical support and troubleshooting for a complex, high-volume production data platform
- Manage and investigate critical production incidents, including Sev-1 / Sev-2 situations
- Analyse monitoring dashboards, alerts, application logs, latency, throughput and error rates
- Troubleshoot REST APIs, HTTP requests/responses and JSON payloads
- Investigate stale, delayed or missing data and support data-platform troubleshooting
- Perform Linux-based operational diagnostics and database/SQL investigation
- Support authentication, permissions and entitlement-related troubleshooting
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, storage, identity and engineering teams
- Prepare clear incident updates, escalation packages, operational reports and runbooks
- Follow established change-control and operational procedures
- Contribute to problem management and continuous improvement after incidents

What we are looking for:

- 10+ years of professional experience in production application support, service operations, technical operations or a similar environment
- Strong production application support / service operations background
- Solid incident management and technical troubleshooting experience
- C++ exposure
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability and log analysis
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP and JSON
- Strong experience working with Linux environments
- Practical SQL and database/data-platform support experience
- Experience coordinating multiple technical teams during critical production incidents
- Strong documentation,



stakeholder communication and operational ownership
- Ability to work calmly and methodically during Sev-1 / Sev-2 incidents
- Fluent English

Highly valuable experience:

- Previous experience with Time Series Databases (TSDB) is a strong advantage, but not mandatory. Platform-specific TSDB knowledge can be developed through onboarding and training.
- Kibana / Elastic
- Grafana or similar monitoring platforms
- ServiceNow / Jira
- Postman, curl or Python requests
- Python or shell scripting
- Sybase ASE or other enterprise databases
- Identity and access management
- Distributed systems
- Data migration / reconciliation
- Financial, market-data, trading, pricing or risk platforms
