Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modelling, and enterprise reporting solutions. This role involves designing and optimizing business intelligence solutions, creating interactive dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This is a fully remote opportunity for professionals who enjoy working with complex datasets, solving analytical challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and maintain enterprise-level data models and semantic structures.
- Develop DAX calculations, measures, and reporting metrics.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance standards.
- Query, analyze, and validate data from multiple data sources.
- Investigate technical issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Validate data transformations and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Explore new datasets and assess data quality and integrity.
- Prepare technical discovery documents and solution design summaries.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into BI solutions.
- Guide development teams and support best practices for reporting and analytics.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Advanced dashboard and report development experience.




- Strong knowledge of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and relationship management.
- Expertise in SQL for data analysis, validation, and performance optimization.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Understanding of data architecture and enterprise BI solutions.
- Experience in data validation and pipeline troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of semantic modelling and reporting best practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in enterprise reporting and analytics environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms is an advantage.
