Role Description The Senior Physiotherapist will provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments to patients receiving home healthcare services and in-clinic care, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered rehabilitation. This full-time, on-site role is based in the Mohali district and involves planning and delivering individualized therapy programs, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed physical and functional assessments, documenting clinical findings, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with physicians, caregivers, and the internal care coordination team.

The Senior

Physiotherapist will educate patients and families on exercise programs, mobility, posture, and use of assistive devices,



while ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, contributing to service quality improvement, and supporting community awareness initiatives related to rehabilitation and assisted living.

Healthy Jeena Sikho has a dedicated physiotherapy Center in Sector 71 Mohali with over 10-Doctors and top-notch modalities like Laser, Shockwave, TEKAR, Decompression, besides the routine cupping, wax, IASTM, Tens, IFT. We do over 1000 sessions and have 7-odd therapy tables and large customer lounge.

Qualifications

- Relevant academic background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institution, with valid professional registration where applicable.
- Clinical expertise: Strong skills in assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, pain management, and rehabilitation for orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and post-surgical conditions.
- Home-care and geriatric experience: Experience working with older adults, chronic conditions, and home-based care settings, including safe use and training on mobility aids and assistive equipment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to explain treatment plans clearly, counsel patients and families, build trust, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Leadership and mentoring: Experience supervising or guiding junior physiotherapists or support staff, with a focus on clinical quality and patient safety.
- Administrative and documentation skills: Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical notes, treatment records, and basic digital tools or EMR systems.
- Qualified attributes: Strong ethical standards, empathy, patience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work
