We are seeking an experienced Senior New Relic & AWS Cloud Operations Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud Infrastructure, New Relic Observability, Production Support, Monitoring, Incident Management, and Cloud Operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise observability solutions, building intelligent monitoring frameworks, improving service reliability, and leveraging AI-driven monitoring capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce incident resolution times.

Key Responsibilities

Observability & Monitoring

- Design and implement end-to-end observability solutions across AWS environments.
- Build and maintain monitoring frameworks using New Relic.
- Create executive, operational, and engineering dashboards.
- Develop infrastructure health monitoring and service availability dashboards.
- Define and implement monitoring standards and best practices.

New Relic Platform Engineering
- Configure and manage:

- New Relic APM

- Infrastructure Monitoring

- Dashboards

- NRQL Queries

- Alert Policies

- Workflows
- Develop proactive monitoring and alerting strategies.
- Optimize observability capabilities across distributed systems.

AWS Cloud Operations
- Support and manage enterprise AWS cloud environments.
- Work with AWS services including:

- EC2

- ECS

- EKS

- RDS

- Lambda

- ELB / ALB

- CloudWatch
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
- Support production incidents, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

AI-Powered Observability
- Leverage Current Relic AI capabilities for:

- Anomaly Detection

- Intelligent Alerting

- Incident Correlation

- Root Cause Analysis
- Drive AI-led observability initiatives.
- Reduce alert fatigue and improve monitoring effectiveness.




- Enhance MTTR through intelligent operational insights.

Incident Management & Reliability Engineering
- Support service reliability and operational excellence initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Implement preventive measures and automation opportunities.

Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for operational automation.
- Implement improvements using AI-driven monitoring insights.
- Standardize dashboards, alerts, and operational processes.
- Contribute to CloudOps and SRE best practices.
