Role Objective

Jabsons Foods is entering a high-growth phase and planning for an IPO. We are looking for a Senior Manager - Finance to professionalize our finance function. The core mission is to streamline existing accounting processes, implement robust internal controls, and ensure the business is "audit-ready" at all times. While we currently follow IGAAP, the candidate will eventually lead the transition to Ind AS.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Process Streamlining & Controllership

- Review and overhaul existing accounting workflows to reduce month-end closing cycles (Target: T+5 or T+7).
- Implement rigorous Internal Financial Controls (IFC) across procurement, sales, and payroll to plug leakages.
- Standardize accounting treatments across different plants/units to ensure data consistency.

2. Audit Readiness & Compliance

- Take full ownership of the statutory audit process, ensuring all schedules are prepared proactively.
- Clean up historical reconciliations (Bank, Vendor, and Inter-company) to ensure a "zero-adjustment" audit.
- Ensure 100% compliance with GST, TDS,



and Income Tax, focusing on timely and accurate filings.

3. Financial Consolidation & Reporting

- Manage the monthly consolidation of accounts, providing clear variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget).
- Ensure the accuracy of the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and inventory valuation.

4. IPO Roadmap & Ind AS Preparation

- Assist the leadership team in preparing the financial data required for IPO due diligence.
- Gradually align current accounting practices with Ind AS requirements.
- Coordinate with external consultants to bridge gaps between existing processes and public-listing standards.

5. Working Capital Management

- Monitor and optimize inventory levels and accounts receivable to improve cash flow.
- Strengthen the "Order-to-Cash" and "Procure-to-Pay" cycles.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: 12 to 14 years in a manufacturing setting (FMCG/Food preferred).
- Technical Skills: * Strong command over IGAAP with a foundational understanding of Ind AS.
- Expertise in Tally/SAP/Oracle Net Suite and advanced MS Excel.
- Proven experience in setting up internal control frameworks (SOPs).
