Job Overview:

Anew ISR platform has been established within our existing Captive in India (CASPL), under which select activities of the DAA (Data, Developer XP, Architecture, Asset & AI) department are carried out. DAA oversees a cross-functional portfolio of digital products and delivers IT services through its canters of excellence. Its scope covers the development of reusable components (building blocks), as well as the development and maintenance of business solutions that leverage diverse areas of expertise, including IT security.

Professionals in this space are expected to bring strong technical competencies and proven experience in delivering critical services within an investment banking setting.

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, part of DAA within ISR (CASPL), is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Bank's IAM applications. The team delivers key security capabilities across the organization, including authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver fully tested, high-quality code aligned with functional and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java, Spring Boot applications.
- Good Frontend experience with React or Angular
- Provide Level 3 production support by diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to application behaviour, configuration, and code.
- Develop, debug, and analyse existing IAM applications to ensure continued reliability and performance.




- Interact with architects to uphold strong design principles and maintain consistent code quality standards.
- Ensure designs make effective use of existing reusable components, maintain clear traceability to business requirements, and embed reusability as a core principle in all new modules.
- Contribute to the identification and remediation of technical vulnerabilities and obsolescence risks.
- Participate in performance tuning and code optimization efforts to improve application efficiency.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design documents, technical specifications, deployment guides, and release notes.
- Apply DevOps practices to support continuous integration, automated testing, and streamlined deployment pipelines.

Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities:

- Adhere to all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal Compliance obligations, including the local Compliance manual and Financial Crime Policy, and complete all required training accordingly.
- Keep knowledge and skills current to remain fully qualified for the role, fulfilling all mandatory training requirements to achieve and sustain competence.
- Avoid any actions that could jeopardize certification of fitness and propriety to perform the role.




- Take all steps necessary to meet the requirements of the annual certification process.
- Act in accordance with all conduct rules set out by the relevant regulatory authority.

Role Requirements:

- 7 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
- Proficient in front-end development with React or Angular.
- Proven experience providing Level 3 support for production applications.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the application stack.
- Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and stored procedures.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and Sonar; experience with containerization tools (Docker; Kubernetes a plus).
- Experience writing and executing automated tests, including unit and integration tests.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

- Deep expertise in Java/J2EE programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Maven, and Hibernate.
- Experience with front-end technologies including React or Angular.
- Solid understanding of database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
- Proven experience designing and implementing event- driven architectures and APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain applications in production/maintenance mode.
- Background in application security and Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts is a plus.
- Exposure AI tools are plus

This role requires professional experience developing web applications using Java and Spring Boot. The depth of knowledge expected will be evaluated in line with the candidate's level of seniority.
