We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manager- HVAC Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for perform various job duties based on the size of the heating and cooling projects they work on, the type of property where systems are needed, and the heating and cooling needs of clients. The candidate must have a strong understanding of HVAC engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs: Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for different spaces and equipment.
2. Interpret and Draft Plans: Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to design HVAC systems. Prepare detailed drawings and schematics for ductwork and piping systems.
3. Calculate Ventilation Requirements:



Determine ventilation needs and design systems accordingly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Determine Budget Costs: Estimate costs for HVAC systems and equipment, preparing comprehensive budget proposals for clients.
5. Coordinate with Others: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with overall building design.
6. Adhere to Building Codes: Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards. Obtain necessary permits as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Strong mathematical skills for precise calculations and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Analytical thinking to interpret data and translate it into effective HVAC system designs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
