About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and evolve a modern SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL, and modern application architecture .

You will work across independently deployed micro-frontends, backend-for-frontend (BFF) services, APIs, background workers, shared libraries, and integrations with other platform services.

While our applications are hosted primarily on Microsoft Azure, deep DevOps or Azure infrastructure experience is not required for this role .

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Engineering

- Design and develop production applications using React 18 and TypeScript .
- Build and maintain independently routed micro-frontends using Vite and React Router.
- Develop reusable UI components using Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Lucide, and shared component libraries .
- Build complex interactive interfaces including dashboards, journey builders, visual editors, workflow diagrams, drag-and-drop interfaces, and rich-text editors.
- Manage server state using TanStack Query .
- Build forms and validation using React Hook Form and Zod .
- Work with Redux Toolkit and Zustand for application state management.
- Build responsive, accessible, reusable, and internationalized user experiences.
- Optimize frontend performance, rendering behavior, and maintainability.

Backend Engineering
- Design and develop backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and Fastify .
- Build secure REST APIs and Backend-for-Frontend services.
- Design clean API contracts and service integrations.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows.
- Work with HTTP-only cookies, server-side sessions, JWT/RS256, Redis, CSRF protection, and token refresh mechanisms.
- Build data-access layers using Prisma and PostgreSQL .
- Develop asynchronous workers and background processing using BullMQ and Redis .
- Build resilient integrations with internal and external APIs.

Data & Distributed Systems
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and transactions.
- Use Redis for caching, sessions, queues, and distributed application state.
- Work with asynchronous and event-driven application patterns.
- Understand message queues, events, retries, idempotency, and failure handling.
- Work with real-time communication technologies such as SSE and Socket.IO .
- Collaborate with services implemented in TypeScript/Node.js, .NET, and Python.

Testing & Quality
- Write unit and integration tests using Vitest and Testing Library .
- Develop end-to-end tests using Playwright .
- Build and maintain API tests using Postman/Newman .
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.




- Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing, type safety, linting, and maintainable architecture.
- Diagnose complex application issues across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript .
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js .
- Strong understanding of React architecture, hooks, component composition, and state management.
- Experience building production APIs using Express, Fastify, or similar Node.js frameworks .
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and application architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Experience with Redis .
- Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT, cookies, sessions, OAuth/OIDC, and RBAC.
- Experience with modern automated testing practices.
- Robust debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and work effectively within a large existing codebase.
- Experience with Git-based development and code-review workflows.

- Break large requirements into manageable and testable components.
- Write clean, maintainable, strongly typed code.
- Review code and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Troubleshoot complex application problems.
- Collaborate effectively across frontend, backend, product, design, QA, data, and platform teams.
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to engineering standards.

AI-Assisted Development Experience with modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or equivalent coding agents is highly desirable.

What Success Looks Like A successful engineer in this role can quickly understand a complex application ecosystem and independently deliver reliable production features.

The primary focus is software engineering—React, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, data, architecture, testing, and application quality .

Cloud infrastructure and DevOps experience are valuable additions, but they are not core requirements for the position .
