Role: Frontend React.js Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Frontend React.js Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, REST API integration, and modern frontend development practices. You will work closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and AI/ML engineers to build enterprise-grade applications and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop scalable and responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance React components.
- Work extensively with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and modern frontend frameworks/libraries.
- Implement React Hooks, functional components, state management, routing, forms, and validations.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Work closely with Python/FastAPI/Flask/Django backend teams for end-to-end application development.
- Implement responsive and cross-browser compatible UI for desktop and mobile applications.
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional web applications.
- Optimize application performance, page loading, rendering, and overall user experience.
- Implement authentication, authorization, session management, and secure API integrations.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable frontend code with appropriate unit/integration testing.
- Troubleshoot UI issues, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve production defects.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design decisions, and Agile ceremonies.




- Work with Git-based version control and contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate AI-powered features and services into web applications.

Required Skills

Frontend – Mandatory

- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Expert-level experience with React.js
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3
- React Hooks, Functional Components, Context API
- State management – Redux / Redux Toolkit / Zustand or equivalent
- React Router and frontend architecture
- REST API integration and asynchronous programming
- Responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with reusable component development

UI & Application Development

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles
- Experience converting Figma/design specifications into responsive interfaces
- Form handling, validation, error handling, and user interactions
- Frontend performance optimization
- Experience with component libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.

Testing & Development Practices

- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of Git/GitHub/GitLab
- Experience participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards

Backend/API Integration – Preferred





- Experience integrating with Python-based APIs
- Knowledge of FastAPI, Flask, or Django is an advantage
- Understanding of REST API architecture, JSON, authentication, OAuth/JWT, etc.
- Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases is preferred.

AI/ML – Good to Have

- Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-enabled applications
- Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs into frontend applications
- Understanding of AI-powered chat interfaces, RAG applications, or AI assistants is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML application workflows and backend integration is desirable.

Good to Have

- TypeScript expertise
- Next.js or other React-based frameworks
- Micro-frontend architecture
- Docker and cloud environments such as AWS/GCP
- CI/CD pipelines
- WebSockets / real-time applications
- Redis, Kafka, or event-driven applications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience developing enterprise-scale applications

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

- Has 5+ years of strong frontend development experience.
- Has expert-level hands-on experience with React.js.
- Is highly proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Can independently design and develop complex frontend applications.
- Has strong experience with API integration and backend collaboration.
- Understands frontend architecture, performance, security, and scalability.
- Has strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Can work effectively with distributed engineering, product, UI/UX, and AI/ML teams.
- Is comfortable working from the Naveera Madurai office 3 days per week.
